Alongside the Moto G62 5G, Motorola has also launched the Moto G42 smartphone. The Moto G42 was leaked several times in the past and was also spotted on certification databases. The latest addition to Moto G-series is an LTE only device and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The mid-range handset brings with it an OLED display and a 50MP camera setup.

Other highlights of the latest G-series device include a 5000mAh battery, turbo charging, and a 16MP selfie camera. Let us take a closer look at the Moto G42 price, specifications, and features.

Motorola is yet to announce the pricing of the Moto G42. We will update the post as soon as the company reveals the pricing and other information. The handset is expected to launch in India as well.

The Moto G42 offers a 6.5-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 2400×1080 pixel resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and 20:9 aspect ratio. The display panel makes room for the selfie camera inside a centered punch hole notch.

Under the hood, the all-new Moto handset sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor and an Adreno 610 GPU. The system on chip comes paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The handset features a dedicated micro-SD card slot that accepts up to 1TB card.

The Moto G42 offers a triple-rear camera setup including a 50MP primary shooter, and a 2MP macro camera. There is also an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 118° field of view which also doubles as a depth sensor. The latest Moto handset offers a 16MP front shooter for selfies and video calls.

The Moto G42 is backed by a 5000mAh battery unit and a 20W TurboPower fast charging. It has a Type-C charging port, a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The all-new Moto handset comes in Metallic Rosé and Atlantic Green colour options. The handset boots My UX, based on Android 12. It weighs 174.5g and measures 160.4×73.5×7.99.
