Moto G51 5G with Snapdragon 480+ SoC Tipped to Launch in India Next Month: Expected Specifications, Features

Motorola has been in the news for the last few weeks. First, the company announced the Moto G31, G41, G51, G71 globally. A few days back, reports suggested that Moto is gearing up to bring the Moto G200 and Moto G31 to India. Now a fresh report says the Moto G51 will be launched in India soon as the first Snapdragon 480+ phone in India. 

Moto G51 5G launch timeline tipped

The Moto G51 5G is expected to arrive in India in December as per the report from 91mobiles. Also, unless there is another brand launching a phone with Snapdragon 480+ SoC, the Moto G51 will be India’s first phone to feature the same. As said earlier, the phone was launched a couple of weeks back globally and now, Motorola is expected to expand its availability outside Europe. Moto G51

Moto G51 specs and features

The Moto G51 comes with a 6.8-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ SoC built on an 8nm fabrication process. The device comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The storage can further be expanded via the micro-SD card slot.

In the camera department, the Moto G51 sports a triple rear camera setup with a 50 MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. Selfies are handled by a 13MP snapper on the front. The device is packed with a 5,000mAh battery and 10W charging support. Other features include a dedicated Google Assistant button, a 3.5mm audio port, a USB Type-C charging port, IP52 water and dust resistant rating, Dolby Atmos, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. 

As for the pricing, the Moto G51 is priced at €229.99 which is around Rs 19,349. However, the Indian price might be different from the global pricing as we have seen in the past. 

The company has already confirmed the launch of Moto G31 in India, but we are still waiting for the official launch date.
