Motorola Moto G7 Plus Gets a Notch Screen, Glass Body
Despite the Moto G7 Plus being a reactively affordable handset, Motorola managed to utilize glass for most of the phone’s exterior. The front and rear panels make use of Gorilla Glass 3 and sandwich a metallic frame in between. You will notice how the face of the device flaunts a waterdrop notch to house the front camera and other sensors. This camera measures 12MP. Turning the phone around reveals a dual camera setup placed inside a circular disk. This setup is comprised of a 16MP primary shooter paired with a 5MP depth sensor.
Just underneath this disk is the rear-mounted fingerprint reader cleverly concealed underneath the iconic M logo. The power button and volume rockers are placed on the right of the phone. The top is where you will find a triple card slot capable of holding two SIM cards and a microSD card simultaneously. The base of the handset is where you can find a USB Type-C charging port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. A notable upgrade on the G7 Plus over the standard G7 is with the former offering stereo loudspeakers.
Moto G7 Plus Uses Snapdragon 636 Processor, Runs Android 9 Pie
The Moto G7 Plus is the most powerful out of all the other G7 handsets it launched alongside. The G7 Plus comes loaded with a Snapdragon 636 SoC. This chipset offers an octa-core CPU that clocks up to 2.8GHz, paired with an Adreno 509 GPU. 4GB of provided RAM should suffice for most multitasking scenarios. While the phone only comes with 64GB of storage, you get the option to add up to 512GB of additional storage over a dedicated microSD card slot.
