Moto G7 Plus: Launch Date Next Year
Since the Moto G6 series was released in April this year, we can expect the Moto G7 Plus to be released by the end of the first quarter or the beginning of the second quarter next year.
Moto G7 Plus: Expected Specifications, Features
The Moto G7 Plus brings big improvements in the design department over its predecessor, the Moto G6 Plus. As our exclusive CAD-based renders show, the Moto G7 will have a waterdrop notch on the display, a first from the brand. According to other leaks, this waterdrop notch display will have a large 6.4-inch size. Another important aspect that our exclusive renders reveal is the dual-camera on the back, which doesn’t come surprising considering that the Moto G6 Plus already had it. According to an alleged commercial of the Moto G7 that was leaked recently, the dual-camera will have a 16MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor. This alleged commercial also says that the device will have a 12MP selfie camera.
Although we still don’t have any specifics on the processor that the Moto G7 Plus is going to pack, we believe it will be either Snapdragon 636 or the Snapdragon 660. A recent leak revealed that the Moto G7 Plus will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Although, we believe there will be additional storage variants on offer upon the launch – say a 3GB+32GB variant or even a 6GB+128GB variant. According to the leaks, the device will run Android 9 Pie out of the box, which could be true given the history of fast OS version updates from Motorola.
Our exclusive renders also show that the device has a Moto logo on the back, which sits just below the camera module. While we haven’t confirmed it, we believe this logo will double-up as a fingerprint scanner, just like we saw on the Motorola Moto One Power. Last but not least, our renders also showcase the Moto G7 Plus’ bottom-mounted USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack, and bottom-firing speaker.
Moto G7 Plus: Expected Price in India
The Moto G6 Plus, as we mentioned above, was released in India recently for Rs. 22,499. Going by the pricing of the Moto G6 Plus, we can expect the Moto G7 Plus to be priced around Rs. 22,000 in India.
