Earlier, we had reported how Mahesh Telecom had come forward with the price of the Moto G7 Power for the Indian market. According to a series of tweets, the phone was being said to have a retail price of INR 14,500 (MRP 15,999). However, we now have confirmation that the selling price of the G7 Power will actually be set at INR 13,999. Furthermore, it has come to light that Motorola is bringing this phone to India on 15 February 2019. The Moto G7 Power is said to be available in India via Flipkart (the page is not live yet) and offline channels.
Motorola seems to only be launching the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of the Moto G7 Power in India. Also, just the Ceramic Black color variant appears to be available for purchase as of now. The phone is sold via both online and offline channels.
The landing page for the Moto G7 Power on Motorola’s Indian website is also live. The smartphone was officially unveiled about a week ago at an event in Brazil. It launched alongside three other smartphones under a similar branding – the Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7, and Moto G7 Play. Based on international pricing, the other three phones could be priced around INR 20,999, INR 16,499 and INR 11,999 respectively when they make their way to this country.
Moto G7 Power Specifications and Features

As its name suggests, the Moto G7 Power follows in the footsteps of the Moto One Power by offering a similarly large 5000mAh battery. This massive cell charges over USB Type C and supports 15W TurboPower charging that is claimed to provide up to 9 hours of usage with just 15 minutes of charge.
The G7 Power will ship with a 6.2-inch HD+ resolution LCD screen. Processing on this phone is handled by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset that offers a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.8GHz that is paired with an Adreno 506 GPU. As mentioned earlier, only the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model is making its way to India. Other regions will also get a 3GB RAM + 32GB storage model which will likely be priced a bit lower. Regardless, users will be able to add 512GB of more storage with the use of a microSD card.
As is the case with pretty much all Motorola phones these days, the G7 Power will also be part of the Android One initiative. This means the phone will run a nearly stock version of Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. The Moto G7 Power will indeed offer dual nano-SIM support in India. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.2, aptX, and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi.
Imaging on the G7 Power is comprised of a primary 12MP rear-facing shooter that is accompanied by an 8MP selfie camera at the front. As for security, the phone offers a rear-mounted fingering scanner concealed underneath the iconic “M” logo, along with Face Unlock via the front camera.
