Motorola has sent invites to publications in Brazil for an event on February 7th. Although the invite does not say anything about the event, it is expected that the brand will launch the Moto G7 series smartphones there.
The Moto G7 has so far leaked many times, giving us a pretty good idea what the device will have to offer. A couple of weeks back, we exclusively leaked the Moto G7 in its official renders, giving our readers a clear look at the device. However, thanks to 91Mobiles, we now also have live images of the device. Additionally, a video of the Moto G7 being handled was leaked yesterday, which further confirms the leaked specifications. Let us have a look at what we know so far about the device, as well as, its Indian launch date and expected pricing.
What We Know So Far About the Moto G7
The Moto G7 series is expected to come in as many as four variants; the Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Play, and the Moto G7 Power. Among these four devices, the Moto G7 Play is expected to be the least expensive variant followed by the Moto G7 Power and the Moto G7, whereas, the Moto G7 Plus will be the most expensive device in its lineup.
Starting with the Moto G7 Play, it is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset. The smartphone is rumored to have a single camera on the back and a 3000mAh battery. The Moto G7 Power is also expected to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset and single rear camera, but it will have a larger, 5000mAh battery, which justifies its name. At the moment, there is no concrete information on camera resolution, display size, RAM capacity, and storage configurations of the Moto G7 Play and the Moto G7 Power.
Coming to the Moto G7, it is rumored to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, which could be true, considering that other smartphones in the mid-range price category have started to offer the same. The Moto G7 is expected to have a dual-camera setup on the back. As the leaked images show, the Moto G7 will have a teardrop notch display. Moving on to the Moto G7 Plus, it will offer the same processor and camera as the Moto G7, but it will come with a larger display. The Moto G7 Plus will have the same teardrop notch as its sibling. At the moment there is no information on the battery capacity, but I speculate that the Moto G7 will have a 3000mAh battery, and the Moto G7 Plus will have a 4000mAh battery. The camera resolution, display size, RAM and storage configurations is still unknown.
