Motorola has launched its new G-series handset – Moto G71 5G in the Indian market. The Moto G71 launched in the global markets a couple of months ago. It is the first Snapdragon 695 powered handset in the country.

The Moto G71 5G comes only in one storage-memory configuration – 6GB + 128GB. It is priced at Rs 18,999 and will go on sale starting January 19 exclusively via Flipkart in the country.

The Moto G71 flaunts a 6.4-inch Full HD+ OLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution, 409ppi pixel density, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is a standard 60Hz refresh rate display that supports up to700nits brightness. The device houses the front shooter inside a punch-hole notch which helps it achieve around 88.8% screen-to-body ratio.

The Moto G71 sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor under the hood. The Snapdragon 695 is built on a 6nm fabrication process and comes coupled with Adreno 619 GPU. The handset offers 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. Motorola is also providing users an option to expand the storage further with the micro-SD card slot.

Moving on to the cameras, the Moto G71 flaunts a triple-rear camera setup and an LED flash. The primary sensor on the G71 is a 50MP shooter with f/1.8 Aperture and Quad pixel technology. It also has an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 118-degree field of view and f/2.2 aperture. There is also a macro vision camera with an f/2.4 Aperture. For selfies, it offers a 16MP front shooter with an f/2.2 aperture.

The Moto G71 is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery unit and 33W fast charging support. It offers a Type-C charging port, a 3.5mm audio jack, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, and a dedicated Google Assistant button. The handset boots Android 11. Motorola will update the G71 to Android 12 and will also roll out quarterly security patch updates for two years.

The Moto G71 will be sold in two color variants – Neptune Green and Arctic Blue. The handset measures 161.19 x 73.87 x 8.49mm and weighs 179grams. It comes with 13 5G bands support – n1, n3, n5, n7, n8, n20, n28, n38, n40, n41, n66, n77, and n78. Other connectivity options include 4G, Dual Sim, Dual-band WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and GPS.
