WinFuture, a German tech publication, has revealed official images as well as all the key specifications of the allegedly upcoming Motorola Moto G8 Plus. The first few devices in the G-series sold exceptionally well, as they had class-leading hardware. However, the G-series has lost traction from the last couple of years because of their boring specifications. Well, the leaked specifications of the Moto G8 Plus suggests that it will be a game-changer.

Motorola G8 Plus Leaked Specifications

According to the report, the Moto G8 Plus will have a 6.3-inch IPS LCD with Full HD+ resolution. The alleged official image shows that there is a U-shaped notch on the display that houses the front-facing camera.

If the report is to be believed, the Motorola Moto G8 Plus is powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC. The same chipset powers the Redmi Note 8 that launched in India today. The chipset has eight Kryo 260 cores and Adreno 610 GPU. The device is said to have 4GB of RAM and come in two storage options – 64GB and 128GB. When it comes to the software, the report claims that the device runs on the Android 9 Pie operating system.

Imaging is where the Moto G8 Plus shines. According to the publication, the device has a triple-camera setup at the rear comprising of a 48MP primary camera, a 16MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP depth sensor. The official image might suggest that there are four rear cameras, but the last circular module you see is actually a laser autofocus unit. The front-facing camera is said to be a 25MP sensor.

WinFuture claims that the Moto G8 Plus has a 4000mAh battery pack with Turbo Power, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth v5.0. The publication also says that the device will launch in two colors – Blue and Red.

When Is It Going to Launch?

According to WinFuture, the Moto G8 Plus will make its debut on October 24 at an event in Brazil, and it will launch in Europe soon after that.

There is no information regarding the availability of the device for the Indian market. Neither is there any pricing info available at the moment.
