Motorola is expected to refresh its budget lineup of Android smartphones at ane event in Brazil next week. The new handsets that could debut there include the Moto E6 Play, the Moto G8 Plus, and the Moto G8 Play, among others. A Dutch blog was recently in the news for posting press images of the Moto E6 Play and hands-on photos of the Moto G8 Play. With just a few days left for the launch, popular leakster, Evan Blass has posted even more images of the Moto E6 Play, and the G8 Play on his Twitter handle. In addition to these two devices, Evan also posted pictures of the Moto G8 Play – images of which were hitherto unseen.

These fresh set of press images do not add any more information about the new phones. Most of the design aspects of the Moto E6 Play and theG8 Play were already discussed earlier. To recap, the Moto E6 is, and pretty much looks like an entry-level smartphone with its now old-school 16:9 HD display. The phone also has very thick bezels that look, well, out of place on a 2019 smartphone – even if it is dirt cheap. We do not know anything about the specifications of the Moto E6 Play, but it would not be surprising to anyone if the handset came with an entry-level processor with 2GB or 3GB RAM options.

As for the Moto G8 Play, we already knew how it looked hanks to a bunch of leaked images. As seen in the pictures below, the G8 Play gets a large display at the front with a waterdrop notch at the top. The phone does appear to have a significant chin. At the rear, the Moto G8 Play gets a fingerprint scanner that is housed inside the Motorola logo. The handset also gets a triple camera setup at the rear.

Moving on to the Moto G8 Plus, this one will be the most premium of the lot and also gets a large display with a waterdrop style notch at the front. The G8 Plus and the G8 Play are near identical to look at. When you turn the G8 Play over, however, you will see that the phone gets a quad-camera setup at the rear in place of the triple cameras on the G8 Play. The rest of the design cues- even at the rear remain identical to the G8 Play.
While we do not know the specifications of these dec=vices yet, the Moto G8 Plus s rumored to feature a 6.3-inch display and is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 665 Soc from Qualcomm. It is expected to be offered in 4GBRAM or 6GB RAM options and will also get a large 4,000mAh battery with support for Motorola’s Turbocharging feature. The handset is also likely to get a quad-camera setup at the rear with a 48-megapixel sensor donning the duties of the primary camera. It will also get an ultra-wide-angle camera and, likely, a telephoto lens along with a depth sensor. At the front, the G8 Plus is rumored to get a 25MP selfie camera.
