An unannounced Motorola smartphone, the G8 Power Lite, was recently spotted on the Geekbench website and Bluetooth SIG certification platform. And today, the Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite has once again been leaked. This time through Google Play Console. The listing of the device on Google’s platform reveals a bunch of its key specifications. Let us have a deeper look at it.
Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite Spotted On Google Play Console
According to the listing of the Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite on Google Play Console, the device features MediaTek Helio P35 chipset (MT6765), which has four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.8GHz, four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.1GHz, and Imagination Technologies PowerVR8320 GPU. The chipset is mated to 4GB of RAM. The device, as per the listing, runs on Android 9 Pie, which Is surprising, since almost all smartphones that are launching nowadays come with Android 10.
According to Google Play Console, the display of the Moto G8 Power Lite has HD+ resolution. Unfortunately, the display size hasn’t been listed here. The listing, however, mentions that the pixel density of the display is 260 PPI, which suggests that it the screen size is between 6-inches to 6.5-inches. Anyway, the listing of the Motorola Moto G8 Lite on Google Play Console also has an image of the device, which clearly shows that it will have a display with thin bezels and a V-shaped notch.
Going by the leaked specs, it looks like the Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite will be the most affordable offering in the G8 lineup of smartphones from Motorola and that it will be placed below the Moto G8. Considering that the Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite will be a budget smartphone, it could launch in price-sensitive markets, like India.
