Lenovo-owned Motorola recently unveiled its next-gen foldable smartphone in China and now the company has officially launched the Moto Razr 2022 on the international market. The smartphone has made its way to the European market and numerous reports confirm that it is heading to India with an imminent launch. However, Motorola is yet to reveal anything about the Indian launch officially.

The newly released Motorola foldable phone is based on the Moto Razr 2021, which is also available in India. The company has made some significant improvements to the new Moto Razr 2022, not just in terms of its design and display but also in terms of its features. The foldable phone comes with dual-rear camera sensors, a centred punch-hole cutout design, an improved hinge, and a lot more among the others. Moto Razr 2022 Price 

Accroding to the reports, the Moto Razr 2022 is debuted in European countries with a price tag of EUR 1200 (approx. Rs 98,500). The foldable smartphone will be up for grabs in Satin Black colour option for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage mode. 

Moto Razr 2022 Specifications 

The Razr 2022 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. It also comes with a 2.7-inch OLED cover screen that users can use to access most of the functionality without having to unfold the main screen.

Talking about its camera features, the phone has a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and a 13-megapixel ultrawide module. The front camera is 32 MP, housed inside the punch-hole on the top of the main display. 

Additionally, the smartphone is expected to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and is available in three different RAM capacities: 8GB, 12GB, and 18GB. The device is also expected to release many storage configurations, including 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. 

Under the hood, the smartphone packs a 3,500mAh battery with 30-watt charging. Apart from the physical SIM slot, the phone also has a slot for e-SIM. Its other features include an IP52 splash rating and dual speakers with Dolby Atmos. Additionally, the device operates on Android 12 and uses MyUX as the user interface.

If the rumors turned out to be true and the Moto Razr 2022 goes official in India then it will be the biggest competitor for the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. Both the handset will be around the same price range and offer almost similar specifications and design. It would be interesting to see at what price point the smartphone is going to be launched in the Indian market.
