Motorola is gearing up to launch two foldable phones later this year. The company is tipped to launch the Moto Razr 40 Ultra as its new premium foldable phone later this year in various markets. There will also be a Razr Lite, aka the Razr 2023. It won’t be a surprise if the Lite version will launch as the Razr 40 2023. While we wait for the launch date, a new leak has now revealed the design details of the Razr 40 Ultra, the top-end Motorola foldable phone.

Tipster Evan Blass, aka EvLeaks, has leaked the official images of the Razr 40 Ultra’s cover display. The images confirm the leaked details about the foldable phone’s design ahead of the launch. Let’s take a look at the Motorola Moto Razr 40 Ultra design, specifications and other details known so far.

More Moto Razr 40 Ultra Design Renders Leaked

The Motorola Moto Razr 40 Ultra will be a premium clamshell-style foldable phone launching later this year in various markets. It might launch in India as well. Ahead of the official confirmation, tipster Blass’ leak reveals the various use cases of the Razr 40 Ultra’s cover display. The images shared by the tipster show the big cover screen of the Razr 40 Ultra.

Users can not only set multiple wallpapers but can also perform various tasks on the cover display. The images suggest that users will be able to access the notification shade right from the cover display. This is something not many clamshell-style foldable phones offer currently. The bigger cover display can be used to set themes, adjust the font size, system UI colours, etc. Motorola is expected to bundle a bunch of wallpapers.

The images also show that there are two circular cutouts at the corner of the display for the dual-camera setup. There is an LED flash next to the camera sensors. The images show that the phone will launch in Black and Red colour options.  We can see antenna lines on the frame, suggesting the use of metal for the same. The right side of the frame will house the power and volume buttons.

The tipster did not reveal the exact display size of the outer screen. Meanwhile, a recent report claimed that the Razr 40 Ultra will debut on June 1. It will launch alongside the Razr Lite, design renders of which were exclusively revealed by MySmartPrice.

The Razr 40 Ultra has also cleared the Geekbench website. It was spotted running Android 13 and should have the latest MyUx update on top. The foldable phone will draw power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It will have at least 8GB of RAM under the hood. Other than this, the foldable display is said to be 6.7 inches tall and offer 144Hz refresh rate support. It will have an under-screen front camera. There will also be a 3640mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

Other details about the Moto Razr 40 Ultra are under wraps. We will share more details as and when available.
