Motorola has announced the new launch date of the Moto X30 Pro and the Razr 2022. The company was originally scheduled to launch the two premium smartphones on August 2. However, for reasons unknown, the launch was postponed at the last minute. Motorola did not reveal the reasons behind the last-minute event cancellation. Moving on, the new launch date (via) for the Motorola event is August 11. The company will launch its Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC-powered phones in China.

Moto X30 Pro, Razr 2022 Launch Date

Motorola has rescheduled the launch event of the Moto X30 Pro and Razr 2022 to August 11. The devices are expected to launch in global markets soon. The Motorola event for the Razr 2022 and X30 Pro will happen a day after Samsung announces the Galaxy Fold 4 and the Galaxy Flip 4 worldwide.


Motorola’s foldable phone, the Razr 2022 is set to get some major upgrades. The company confirmed that the outer screen is larger than ever. According to reports, the Razr 2022 will have a 3-inch display. On the inside, there will be a 6.7-inch foldable AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate support and a Full HD+ resolution. There will be a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera.

The Razr 2022 will have a dual-camera setup with a 50MP primary camera and a 13MP ultrawide camera. It will come with a 32MP front camera for selfies. The device is also said to pack a 3260 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

The X30 Pro, on the other hand, will be a flagship smartphone. It is said to launch globally as the Moto Edge 30 Ultra. The X30 Pro will sport a 6.67-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate support. It will have a 32MP front camera inside the hole-punch cutout. The phone will sport a triple-camera setup on the back. There will be a 200MP Samsung HP1 main camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera.

The X30 Pro will pack a 4500 mAh battery with support for 125W fast charging. Both devices will draw power from a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and run Android 12-based MyUX 3.0 out of the box.
