Moto Z4 Specifications
Starting with the build quality, the Moto Z4 comes with a 6000 series polished Aluminium frame and Gorilla Glass 3 protection for the display. The back panel looks like it is made up of glass, but we can’t say for sure what it is yet. The device even comes with P2i splash-proof coating. As for the display, the Moto Z4 features a 6.4-inch OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display has a tiny, U-shaped notch at the top that houses the front-facing camera.
In terms of imaging, the Moto Z4 has a single, 48MP camera at the back and a 25MP shooter at the front. The 48MP camera features an f/1.7 aperture, phase-detection autofocus, OIS, and 4K video recording at 30 frames per second. Like most other smartphones with a 48MP camera, this camera sensor utilizes four-in-one pixel-binning technology to take 12MP images. As for the front-facing camera, it has an f/2.0 aperture, and a fixed focus.
Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC mated to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Yes, the device comes in only one configuration. The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie OS, and like every other Motorola smartphone nowadays, this one has a stock Android UI too. Motorola has, however, made a few customizations to the UI to integrate its proprietary features such as Moto Actions and Moto Mods. Yes, the Motorola Moto Z4 comes with Moto Mod support just like its predecessor did. The device page on the brand’s website mentions that the Moto Z4 will have one Moto Mod for each – screen projection, stereo speakers, 360-degree camera, extended battery life, and 5G connectivity.
The Moto Z4 packs a 3600mAh battery, and it supports 15W fast charging. For connectivity, the device features USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, and Bluetooth v5.0. In the USA, the Moto Z4 will come with single-SIM connectivity. Although the brand hasn’t confirmed this, in markets outside the USA, the Moto Z4 will most probably come with dual-SIM connectivity.
