Motorola Capri With 5000mAh Battery Clears FCC Certification, Launch Imminent

Motorola is reportedly in the works to launch a new Android smartphone, which will allegedly be codenamed Motorola Capri. As a matter of fact, it is supposed to be a series of smartphones and we can very well expect the Motorola Capri Plus to make its way as well. Not too long ago, we came across a report suggesting these names and some key specifications of these devices and today, we have been able to spot the Motorola Capri smartphone on the FCC certification website, the TUV Rheinland certification website, and the UL (Demko) certification, which reveal some crucial information surrounding the device’s battery and charging speed. Motorola Capri visits FCC, key specifications revealed

As seen in the FCC certification images above, the Motorola Capri (with the model numbers Motorola XT2127-1 and XT2127-2) have recently been certified. The FCC certification confirms that the device will be a 4G handset.

The TUV Rheinland and UL (Demko) certifications, however, tell us about the battery capacity (4,850mAh rated and 5,000mAh typical) and the charging speed (10W) of the upcoming Motorola Capri smartphone. Clearly, the device appears to be an entry-level smartphone, which falls in line with the previous leak. Below are the certification images for your reference:

Coming to the rest of the specifications of the device, the Motorola Capri is said to feature an HD+ panel with a 1,600 x 720 pixel resolution. The device is tipped to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor, which will likely be paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. In terms of photography, the Motorola Capri is said to sport a 48MP quad rear camera setup.
