Motorola recently refreshed its Edge lineup of smartphones with the Edge 20 series. The flagship series comprises three new smartphones called the Edge 20, Edge 20 Pro and Edge 20 Lite. Motorola is expected to launch at least two out of the three devices in India. The company could also be working on the successor of the original Edge flagship models launched last year. The Edge (2021) has visited multiple certification websites. The listings include FCC, Wi-Fi Alliance TUV and the REL Canada certification. Motorola Edge (2021) is in the works
Motorola could launch the Edge (2021) very soon. The device is listed on multiple certification websites ahead of the official launch. The first listing is on the Radio Equipment List (REL) Canada certification website. It confirms the moniker of the device and also reveals the XT2141-2 model number. The device is also listed on the FCC website, which reveals the various bands and the adapter model number of the device. The same was confirmed via the TUV certification of the Edge (2021). It will come with the AC-adapter MC-301. The TUV listing further reveals that the Edge (2021) will come with 30W fast charging support.
Lastly, the device has visited the Wi-Fi Alliance website ahead of the launch. It reveals that the phone will run Android 11 out of the box. The listing further reveals that the phone will support 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz Wi-Fi frequency bands.
Other details of the phone are currently under the wraps. We can expect more details of the upcoming Motorola phone in the coming days.
