Motorola, a few months ago, launched the Moto Edge 30 Fusion smartphone. Now, the company, in collaboration with Pantone, has announced a new colour variant of the Edge 30 Fusion. The Moto Edge 30 Fusion, design in collaboration with Pantone, comes in a Viva Magenta colour option. To those unaware, Pantone, every year, announces colour of the year and the brand has announced the Viva Magenta as the colour of the year for 2023.
Motorola also becomes the first smartphone brand to collaborate with Pantone for a smartphone. Motorola says that the Viva Magenta colour option of the Edge 30 Fusion represents a fearless hue that writes a new narrative. In terms of specifications, the Moto Edge 30 Fusion Pantone Edition is the same as the global variant that was launched a few months ago. Moto Edge 30 Fusion × Pantone: Price and Availability
The Moto Edge 30 Fusion × Pantone in Viva Magenta colour is priced at $799.99 (approx Rs 65,830). It will be available for purchase in the US starting December 12.
As a bundle offer, Moto Edge 30 Fusion Pantone Edition buyers will get Moto Buds 600 ANC TWS Earbuds as a freebie. However, the Moto Buds 600 ANC TWS Earbuds do not come in Viva Magenta colour. Instead, it comes in a Winetasting colour to complement the Edge 30 Fusion Viva Magenta.
Moto Edge 30 Fusion × Pantone: Specifications and Features
The Edge 30 Fusion features a 6.55-inch 10-bit OLED display panel with a Full HD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+. It is a curved display that is covered with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The display panel also accommodates an in-display fingerprint scanner and features a centered punch-hole notch.
Under the hood, the Edge 30 Fusion sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor that brings with it Adreno 660 GPU. It is paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The handset comes pre-loaded with Android 12.
The Edge series smartphone offers a triple-rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary shooter with OIS support, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. It is equipped with a 32MP front shooter that supports autofocus. The smartphone is backed by a 4400mAh battery unit and 68W fast charging support. The smartphone relies on a Type-C port for charging and data transfers.
The Edge 30 Fusion weighs 175 grams and measures 158.48 × 71.99 × 7.45mm. It has been equipped with a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support. However, it lacks the 3.5mm audio jack, so audio is also routed through the Type-C port. It also features an IP52 rating that makes it dust and splash-resistant. Connectivity options of the device include Dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi 6E 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and GPS.
