The Motorola Edge 40 Neo India launch date has been officially announced by Motorola via its X (formerly Twitter) handle. As per the teaser shared by the company, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo will launch in India on September 14. The device is set to debut in Romania on the same date. Considering that the newly introduced Moto G54 5G and the Moto G84 5G are available for purchase exclusively via Flipkart, we can expect the Motorola Egde 40 Neo to go on sale on the same e-commerce portal once it launches in India on September 14.
Motorola Edge 40 Neo India Launch Date Revealed
The previous leak suggests that the Motorola Edge 40 Neo will feature a 6.55-inch pOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The device could be powered by MediaTek’s octa-core Dimensity 1050 SoC. The smartphone is expected to pack up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. As for the software, we can expect the handset to boot Android 13 out of the box with MyUX skin on top.
Moving onto the imaging department, the handset is tipped to feature a dual-camera setup. The camera module might include a 50MP primary camera with an OIS support and a 13MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video-calling purposes, the handset might rely on a 32MP camera. The whole package is expected to draw power from a 5,000mAh battery which could offer 68W fast charging support.
The teaser shared by Motorola recently consists of the tagline “Coming soon to make a splash”, which indicates one way that the device will offer an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. The other key features which we can expect the Edge 40 Neo to offer include an in-display fingerprint sensor, 5G support, NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and a USB Type-C port.
The recent leak suggests that the device will cost €338.99 (Roughly Rs 30,209). The device will make its debut in Black Beauty, Caneel Bay, and Soothing Sea colour options.
