Motorola unveiled the Edge 20 series in select markets last month. The company unveiled three new devices, namely the Edge 20, Edge 20 Pro and the Edge 20 Lite. Two out of the three devices are expected to launch in India very soon. Motorola has now launched another smartphone called the Edge S Pro. The device launched in China is a rebadged version of the Edge 20 Pro. It comes with a Snapdragon 870 SoC under the hood. The phone also has a tall 6.67-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Motorola Edge S Pro launched

Motorola has launched the Edge S Pro in China. The device comes in four storage configurations with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage. The base variant with 6GB + 128GB configuration is priced at CNY 2,399 (roughly Rs 27,500). The 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants are priced at CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs 30,950) and CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs 34,400). The top-tier storage option with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage is priced at CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs 37,800). 


In comparison, the global variant comes in a single 12GB + 256GB model priced at €699 (roughly Rs 61,600). It comes in three colour options: Frosted Grey, Frosted White, and Frosted Emerald.

Specifications and features

The Edge S Pro features a 6.67-inch h Full HD+ OLED display. The screen has support for a 144Hz refresh rate. It has a hole-punch cutout on top for the front camera. Under the hood, the phone has a Snapdragon 870 SoC.

The performance unit is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone packs a 4,500 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. 

It has a triple-camera setup on the back. There is a 108MP primary camera, coupled with an 8MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and 50x hybrid zoom. The camera module also features a 16MP ultrawide lens that doubles up to shoot macro shots as well. It runs Android 11 out of the box and comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
