Motorola could launch a new budget smartphone very soon. The Motorola Moto E40 could be the company’s next budget smartphone offering. The E-series Motorola phone is expected to launch soon. It has appeared on the NBTC certification website ahead of the official launch. The listing on NBTC does not reveal much about the upcoming Motorola phone, except its model number and moniker. The device has the model number XT2159-4. The same device has also visited the FCC website as well. Motorola’s upcoming phone, the Moto E40, is listed on multiple certification websites. The budget smartphone is expected to launch soon. Motorola is yet to announce the official launch date of the E40 at the time of writing this. The launch of the new budget smartphone from Motorola seems imminent following its visit to various certification websites.

The device with the model number XT2159-4 has visited the NBTC website. As mentioned above, it only reveals the moniker and the model number of the phone. Alongside the NBTC listing, the Moto E40 is also listed on the FCC website, which reveals some key details of the device.

For starters, the phone will have a 4GB + 64GB storage variant. Motorola will launch the device with single and dual SIM options. Another phone with the XT2159-5 model number is listed as a Lenovo device. This means that the phone could launch as a rebadged Motorola phone in select markets.

In addition to this, the Motorola phone will pack a battery, which has the model number JK50. The battery capacity was confirmed via a TUV listing, which reveals a 5000 mAh battery. It will come with 10W charging support with an adapter having the model numbers – MC-101, MC-102, MC-103, MC-104, MC-105, MC-106 and MC-109.

Lastly, the phone is also spotted on the WiFi Alliance website. it confirms that the device will boot Android 11 out of the box.
