The Moto G Go is tipped to feature dual rear camera setup.

Motorola is gearing up to launch a few new smartphones globally as well as in India in a couple of days. The company is expected to launch three new Moto Edge series smartphones 一 the Moto Edge 30 Ultra, Moto Edge 30 Fusion, and Moto Edge 30 Neo.

On the other hand, it looks like the company is also gearing up to launch a new affordable smartphone under the G series. The Lenovo-owned brand is working on a new smartphone called the Moto G Go. A couple of months ago, the upcoming phone’s design and specifications were leaked and now, we have spotted the same phone on the Geekbech database. The listing on the Geekbench reveals the phone’s processor, RAM, and OS details.

Specifications Tipped Via Geekbench Database

The Motorola Moto G Go has been listed on the Geekbench with Android 11 OS, which is a disappointing matter as the stable version of Android 13 is already out. Going by the name, we think this device might run on the Android Go edition, which is Google’s dedicated Android version for smartphones with low RAM and storage.

As for the RAM of the device, the Moto G Go has been listed with 2GB of RAM, but the company might also launch a 3GB RAM version and we might get up to 32/64GB storage options. Further, as for the chipset, the Moto G Go has been listed to feature an octa-core SoC with “MT6762G”, which is the codename of the MediaTek Helio G25 SoC. The Helio G25 SoC comes with four cores running at 1.5GHz and four cores running at 2GHz. This mobile processor will be paired with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

Based on the previous leak, the Moto G Go is tipped to feature an IPS LCD display, a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP main and a 2MP secondary camera, a 5MP selfie camera, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device is expected to launch in the coming weeks as an entry-level phone.
