A month after its international launch, it looks like the company is already working on the successor of the G50. The Moto G51 5G has been spotted online. The smartphone has visited the Geekbench website, which has revealed its key specifications. Motorola is likely to launch the successor model of the G50 5G later this year or early next year. Motorola Moto G51 could launch sooner than expected. The budget 5G smartphone has visited Geekbench a month after the G50 5G’s launch. The listing on Geekbench has revealed the performance unit details of the G51 5G. The variant listed on Geekbench has 4GB of RAM under the hood. We can expect Motorola to launch the phone with 6GB of RAM as well. It will run Android 11 out of the box. Considering Android 12 has already been launched, Motorola could roll out an update for the G51 5G soon after its launch.
As far as performance is concerned, the device is likely to draw power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC. The processor comes with support for 5G network. It is clocked at 2.21GHz and paired with an Adreno 619 GPU. The listing also reveals the phone’s Geekbench test scores. It scored 543 and 1675 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests.
Other details of the phone were not revealed via the Geekbench website. Since the phone is still a few weeks away from its launch, we can expect details around the display, battery, fast charging, etc. to surface online soon.
