Motorola launched two of the smartphones in the Moto 8 lineup last year – Moto G8 Play and Moto G8 Plus, but it skipped the standard Moto G8 and the Moto G8 Power back then. Finally, the company appears to be launching both the devices pretty soon, a recent report suggests. As a matter of fact, the specifications of the devices have also surfaced. Let’s have a look at what the Moto G8 and the Moto G8 Power might have in store for us.

Moto G8 and Moto G8 Power Specifications Leaked

Both the Moto G8 and the Moto G8 Power are going to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset. Having talked about the thing that is common, let’s talk about the individual specifications of both the devices. The Moto G8 is said to be the lesser of the two. The device will feature a 6.39-inch HD+ display with punch-hole camera setup, hinting that the display will be LCD and further hinting that the fingerprint scanner will most likely be a physical one and will sit at the back of the device. For optics, the Moto G8 is tipped to feature a triple rear camera setup – a 16MP primary lens with f/1.7 aperture, a 2MP macro lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The front camera will be an 8MP unit with an f/2.0 aperture. The Moto G8 is rumored to be fueled with a 4,000mAh battery with 10W of charging.

Moving on to the Moto G8 Power, the device is tipped to feature a bigger battery – 5,000mAh with 18W Quick Charge 3.0 support. The display of the device is supposedly going to be a 6.36-inch FHD+ panel. The single punch-hole will accommodate a 25MP selfie shooter. At the back, the device will feature a quad rear camera setup – an extra 8MP shooter will be added on top of the three cameras of the Moto G8.
