Moto G8: Specifications and Features
The Moto G8 sports a 6.4-inch display with a 720p+ HD+ resolution. The device comes with a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. Speaking of the selfie camera, the Moto G8 flaunts an 8MP sensor (1.12µm pixels). Moving around on the back, the Moto G8, the Moto G8 sports a triple camera setup (and a Laser Autofocus unit), which consists of a 16MP primary lens (1.12µm pixels, f/1.7), a 119-degree 8MP ultra wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro camera. Powering the Moto G8 is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset, which is paired with an Adreno 600-series GPU. As far as storage is concerned, the Moto G8 comes with four gigs of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. If 64GB of data does not suffice for your media consumption needs, you can bump up the internal storage of the Moto G8 by up to 512GB with the help of an external SD card. There, however, is a limitation to it. The Moto G8 comes with a hybrid SIM card slot, meaning that one can either use two SIM cards at the same time or one SIM card and a microSD card, something you should keep in mind. In the software department, the Moto G8 runs on the latest Android 10 OS out of the box. Usually, the Motorola smartphones come with an almost stock-like Android experience, so the same can be expected with the Moto G8 as well.
Coming to the battery of the device, the Moto G8 features a 4,000mAh battery, which can be charged over a USB Type-C port located at the bottom of the device. The charging speed, however, is restricted to 10W. Thankfully enough, the Moto G8 retains a 3.5mm headphone jack and the same can be found at the top of the device. There is a physical fingerprint scanner as well, which is embedded underneath the Motorola logo at the back.
