Lenovo-owned Motorola is expected to announce two new smartphones in the mid-range segment and entry-level segment called the Moto E7 Plus and Moto G9 Plus. Reputed tipster Evan Blass has now shared images of what the smartphones are going to look like along with the colour options and key specifications, ahead of the official launch. Both devices will be launching first in the European markets and should then make their way to India.
Moto G9 Plus: Expected design and specifications
As per the renders, Moto G9 Plus will be available in two colour options which are Blue and Bronze. It will feature the punch-hole style selfie shooter on the top left while the bezels around the display itself are quite minute. The renders also reveal that the Moto G9 Plus is likely going to have a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Apart from that, we can see a quad-camera housing with the fourth lens placed in a different position alongside the flash. The Motorola logo is still present on the back.
Expected specs of the device include a 64MP primary camera setup. The TUV Rheinland certification revealed that the G9 Plus is going to likely house a 4,700mAh battery with a 30W fast charging support. There is going to be 4GB RAM along with 128GB storage but more configurations of the device are also expected. On the software side of things, we are likely to see the phone being part of Google’s Android One program with a stock Android 10 interface. There is currently no word on the chipset being used inside the phone, but if past devices are anything to go by, we should see a Snapdragon 700-series powering the Moto G9 Plus. A leaked listing of the phone has revealed its price to be EUR 277 which is about Rs 25,000.
Moto E7 Plus: Expected design and specifications
The Moto E7 Plus is a more budget offering from the company and the design makes it quite apparent. In the renders, Moto E7 Plus is seen in Blue and Orange colour options, with a waterdrop notch on the front. At the back a dual-camera setup is visible and it is believed that the primary sensor will be a 48MP lens. The fingerprint sensor appears to be integrated with the Motorola logo at the back, which is something that we have seen on many Moto phones. Previous reports have said that the device is likely to pack in a Snapdragon 460 SoC, a 5,000mAh battery with a 10W charging support and up to 4GB RAM.
