Motorola is reportedly working on a new flagship smartphone that will come with a weird refresh rate. Most of the smartphones these days come with 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz, or 144Hz refresh rate. However, the upcoming Motorola smartphone is said to feature a 105Hz refresh rate. The company introduced its flagship series, the Motorola Edge and Edge+ with 90Hz refresh rate. Now, it seems that the company is making yet another flagship smartphone with an unusual refresh rate. The smartphone is codenamed as Motorola Nio. Here’s what you need to know about the upcoming Motorola smartphone.
Motorola Nio details leaked
Folks at XDA Developers have revealed that the company is working on a new smartphone that will come with an unusual high refresh rate. The smartphone comes with codename ‘Nio’ and bears model number Motorola XT2125. The publication has seen some solid evidence that this upcoming flagship smartphone might have a peak refresh rate of 105Hz. There seems no logic behind the 105Hz refresh as it does not divide evenly into 24 or 30 fps. So, it is possible that the company is only testing this refresh rate during development and will cap it to 90Hz when the phone is made official.
