Motorola One Fusion+ with Snapdragon 675 SoC Tipped to Launch Later this Year Along with One Fusion

Lenovo-owned Motorola is all set to unveil the Moto Edge-series of smartphones on April 22. Earlier today though reputed tipster Evan Blass mentioned two other upcoming devices from the company called the Moto One Fusion and One Fusion Plus. Now an exclusive leak from 91mobiles has shed light on the possible specs of the Fusion Plus. From the looks of it, the device will be aimed at the budget segment and the report mentions that it will be announced in India and the US.

Moto One Fusion Plus leaked specifications

Evan Blass said in his tweet that the Moto One Fusion Plus will be codenamed Liberty and alongside the Moton One Fusion, it is expected to be announced by the end of Q2 2020. The Fusion Plus will be powered by Snapdragon 675 SoC which is something that the Redmi Note 7 Pro was running on last year. Storage variants for the device will include 64GB and 128GB versions with 4GB and 6GB RAM versions respectively.

Color versions of the device include Light Blue and Light Brown. Details about the optics on the device are scarce, but the report mentions that the phone will have a 12MP primary camera. Apart from that, the phone will have standard dual-SIM connectivity options. There will be no NFC support on the device.

This is, in fact, all we know of the Moto One Fusion Plus. Things still in the air are the display and battery capacity of the device and what kind of notch the phone is planning to use if any. There will most certainly be other cameras on the phone except for the 12MP snapper and in due time we should find out about that too as well. While the time frame for the launch has been set for the end of Q2, it is prudent to know that the Coronavirus outbreak had halted much of the manufacturing sector in China. It should be interesting to see if this will affect the launch time frame in any way.

As of right now, there is no word on the specification of the Moto One Fusion, which has been codenamed Titan, according to Blass. Judging by the name, it is most likely a lower-powered variant of the Fusion Plus. However, both phones will very likely be running on Android 10.0 out of the box. The launch is a couple of months away at least so we should be hearing more about the smartphones via leaks and renders.

Moto One Edge-series to be announced on April 22

Motorola will announce its flagship smartphone Moto Edge and Edge Plus in an online-only event. The top-end Edge Plus is likely to be running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, have a 90Hz refresh rate, a 108MP camera, and a 6.67-inch AMOLED display. Since the name is Edge, the display is said to be curved on the sides like the OnePlus 8 Pro. The phone will have support for 5G and it is currently being announced in the US although we can expect the phone to show up in the Indian markets at a later stage.
