A Spanish tech publication, ProAndroid, has revealed alleged live images and specifications of a smartphone that it claims to be an upcoming handset from Motorola. Another report, which comes from XDA Developers, suggests that the smartphone revealed by ProAndroid could be called the One Hyper.
Motorola One Hyper Leaked Specifications and Live Images
As you can see in these images, the One Hyper has a pop-up front-facing camera located at the top right corner of the device. If that’s true, the One Hyper could be the first smartphone from Motorola to have a pop-up camera mechanism. Thanks to the pop-up camera, there is no notch on display. According to ProAndroid, the display is a 6.39-inch IPS LCD with Full HD+ resolution.
If these images are to believed, the One Hyper has a triple-camera setup at the rear. The primary camera is said to be a 64MP unit with f/1.8 aperture, the secondary camera is claimed to be an 8MP ultrawide unit, and the last one, according to the publication, is a depth sensor. As for the selfie camera, ProAndroid claims it to be a 32MP unit with an f/2.0 aperture.
Below the rear camera module, there seems to be a fingerprint scanner. Unlike other Motorola devices, the fingerprint sensor here does not have a Motorola branding on it. There is, however, an LED light surrounding the fingerprint scanner, which gives the device a unique look. The rear panel seems to have a glossy finish. However, it could also be a glass panel. It is hard to tell at this point.
The report from ProAndroid claims that One Hyper uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC, and it is mated to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device is said to run Android 10 OS. And it will most probably have a stock Android look, like other Motorola smartphones nowadays. According to ProAndroid, the device packs a 3,600mAh battery, and it comes with USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, and dual-SIM connectivity.
