The Motorola P30 was unveiled in China back in July. In fact, the P30 is a new series in China which included the P30 itself and other models launched later such as the P30 Note. There was also a P30 Play that was listed on the official Motorola website shortly and was thereafter taken down. Now, it seems the standard P30 will be receiving a new colour variant in the country. Motorola has listed the new Aurora Gradient Color on its official website and shared sales details on social media as well. The gradient colour is in trend for the past few months and it’s not a surprise to see it as most manufacturers are opting for the new eye-catching shade.
Regarding availability and price, the P30 Aurora Gradient colour rocks 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It will go on sale on November 28 on portals such as Tmall, Motorola.com and Lenovo. The price of the handset is 2499 Yuan ( Rs 25,500 Approx). That is significantly more than the other two colour variants – Ice Jade White and Bright Black. These two cost 2099 Yuan (Rs 21,500 Approx.) comparatively. However, they come with 64GB of storage and the new colour variant has double the amount of storage.
The Motorola P30 is a handset with premium build quality as its metal body is sandwiched with 2.5D glass. Its frames are made up of high-purity polysilicon powder. It has dual rear cameras and a fingerprint reader module which is home to Motorola’s logo. The front has a notch design and a “‘Motorola’ branding on the bottom bezel. It bears resemblance to the Motorola One Power but has glass rear and front panels which make it look more premium than the Android One device.
In terms of specifications, the handset rocks a Snapdragon 636 SoC accompanied by 6GB of RAM. The handset’s display measures 6.2-inches and boasts a Full HD+ resolution of 2246 x 1080p resolution with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Quite remarkably, it runs ZUI 4.0 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo and is powered by a 3000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charge. In the optics department, Motorola has used a 16MP + 5MP duo on the rear while a single 12MP shooter sits inside the notch for selfies. The handset is available in China and has not yet made it’s way to other countries.
