Motorola Razr 40 Ultra Listed on Geekbench; To Feature Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 SoC and 8GB RAM

Motorola is expected to launch the Razr Pro and Razr Lite foldable phones soon. The company is expected to launch its new foldable phones later this year. The Razr Pro 2023 was previously tipped to launch as the Razr Plus 2023. It looks like the same phone might launch in a few markets as the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra. We say so based on a couple of online certifications. The Razr 40 Ultra was spotted alongside the Razr+, aka the Razr Pro, on the Chinese CQC certification website and the TDRA certification website. In addition to this, the phone was also spotted on the Canadian REL certification website. 

Adding to the leaks is a new Geekbench listing of the Razr 40 Ultra. As per the listing, the Razr 40 Ultra will feature at least 8GB of RAM. Let’s take a look at the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra specifications, features and other details known so far.


Motorola Razr 40 Ultra Geekbench Listing Reveals Key Specs

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will be a new foldable phone launching soon in various markets. The foldable phone is likely to be a rebadged version of another device. As per recent listings, the Razr 40 Ultra has the model number Motorola XT2321-1. The device has been spotted on Geekbench today with the official moniker. The phone will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC under the hood. The flagship series SoC sits below the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC but it is still quite powerful even in 2023. 

The octa-core SoC has a peak clock speed of 3.19GHz. It is paired with 8GB of RAM. We can expect Motorola to launch the foldable phone with a 12GB RAM option as well. The foldable phone was spotted running Android 13. It will have a layer of MyUX 5 on top.

As per the listing, the Razr 40 Ultra scored 1285 and 3810 points in Geekbench 6’s single-core and multi-core tests.

If the phone is indeed the Razr Plus, aka the Razr Pro, it will have a large cover display. The exact screen size is unknown but as per recent leaks, the cover display will be bigger than the OPPO Find N2 Flip, which features a 3.26-inch cover display. On the inside, we can expect the device to feature a 6.7-inch 144Hz OLED foldable display.

There will be a dual-camera setup on the outside with an LED flash. The front camera will be placed under the display without any hole punch or notch cutout.
