Motorola has confirmed the Razr 40 series India launch date. The company launched the Razr 40 series earlier this year in Europe and China. The Razr 40 series includes two foldable phones. There is the baseline Razr 40, above which is the Razr 40 Ultra. Motorola has confirmed that both its Razr phones are launching in India in July. The company has confirmed the India launch date of the Razr 40 series via Amazon India, which is July 3.

Motorola Razr 40 Series India Launch: What You Must Know

The Motorola Razr 40 series will launch in India on July 3. Motorola’s foldable phones will take on the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the OPPO Find N2 Flip. The company confirmed that both its foldable phones will launch in India. The Razr 40 will be the more affordable of the two foldable phones from Motorola’s stable.

The Razr 40 Ultra, on the other hand, sports the biggest cover display on any foldable phone launched to date. Both phones feature some premium hardware under the hood.

The Razr 40 Ultra is expected to be priced at around Rs 80,000 in India. We say so based on the phone’s starting price in China for the 8GB RAM option, which is CNY 5699 (roughly Rs 65,000). The device will still undercut the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the OPPO Find N2 Flip, which is priced at Rs 89,999 in India.

The Razr 40, on the other hand, could be priced at around Rs 60,000 in India. It was launched in China for CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs 45,400). The official pricing details will be announced at the launch on July 3.

In terms of specifications, the Razr 40 Ultra packs superior hardware. The Razr 40 borrows some of the specs while sporting a smaller cover display.
