Motorola Razr 40 Ultra Leaked in Full Glory

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will take on the likes of the OPPO Find N2 Flip and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 once it is launched in various markets. Ahead of the June 1 launch, tipster Blass has uploaded a 44-second video, which reveals the massive outer display of the Razr 40 Ultra. Clamshell-style foldable phones have featured a small outer display for a while. The OPPO Find N2 Flip currently sports the biggest outer display on any foldable phone with its 3.26-inch cover display. The Razr 40 Ultra might one-up the Find N2 Flip and launch with a taller, wider outer display.

The video shared by Blass does not confirm the exact outer display size. However, if rumours are to be believed, it will be 3.6 inches diagonally tall. The video also reveals the various use cases of the Razr 40 Ultra’s outer display. Some of the use cases include setting a custom wallpaper, navigation on Google Maps, checking notifications, playing games, controlling music playback, etc.

The foldable display is said to be “ultra-smooth” and “incredibly vivid”. It has fairly thin bezels and a hole-punch cutout at the top centre of the display. The Razr 40 Ultra has a dual-camera setup next to the outer display. There is also an LED flash module next to the sensors.

Other details of the phone have leaked as well. The Razr 40 Ultra is said to sport a tall 6.9-inch pOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The screen will offer support for up to 165Hz refresh rate. The outer display, which is said to be 3.6-inch tall, will have a 1066 x 1056-pixel resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate as well.
