Motorola Razr with Foldable OLED Display Launched in India Via Flipkart: Price, Specifications

Motorola has finally launched its Motorola Razr foldable smartphone in India. The company’s first-ever smartphone, the Motorola Razr was launched globally a little while ago and it was high time that the brand made it available on Indian soil. The device falls under the premium segment of the Android ecosystem, at least when we look at its price. It will be sold in India via Flipkart and Motorola’s own e-store. Well, let’s have a look at the price, specifications, and features of the Motorola Razr smartphone.

Motorola Razr: Price in India

The Motorola Razr is launched in India for an asking price of Rs 1,24,999. Clearly, the Motorola Razr is not a smartphone for everyone. As mentioned earlier, the Motorola Razr will be available on Flipkart and Motorola website. The company is offering an instant Rs 10,000 cashback to the City Bank debit and credit card owners, double data and double benefits worth Rs 4,999 to the Reliance Jio users, and MotoCare accidental damage protection at a special discounted price with the purchase of the Motorola Razr. Pre-bookings for the Motorola Razr have already begun, while the sale will start on April 2, 2020.

Motorola Razr: Specifications and Features

Starting off with the display of the device, the Motorola Razr flaunts a 6.2-inch Full HD+ P-OLED display with a 876 x 2,142 pixel resolution. There’s this secondary G-OLED display too, which is around 2.7-inch across the diagonal. The secondary display of the Motorola Razr comes with a 600 x 800 pixel resolution and can be used to receive and interact with notifications on the go. Coming back to the main display, it has a 373 pixels per inch pixel density. The device features a 70.2 percent screen-to-body ratio. Speaking of build quality, the Motorola Razr is made up of plastic all around and measures 172 x 72 x 6.9 mm (when unfolded) and 94 x 72 x 14 mm (when folded). It weighs in at 205 grams.

Powering the Motorola Razr is a 10nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, which is coupled with an Adreno 616 GPU, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. Sadly enough, the Motorola Razr does not come with an option for storage expansion.

Moving on to the camera department, the Motorola Razr sports a dual rear camera setup – a 16MP primary lens with f/1.7 aperture and Dual Pixel PDAF, and a ToF 3D depth sensor. The device can shoot 2160p videos at 30 frames per second. At the front, the device features a 5MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

In the software field, the Motorola Razr ships with the now dated Android 9 Pie OS out of the box. A 2,510mAh battery keeps the lights of the Motorola Razr on. The device can be charged with up to 18W of fast charging speed with the help of a USB Type-C charging port.
