Not too long ago, Motorola launched its first-ever foldable smartphone, the Motorola Razr. The company’s foldable is about to make its presence felt in the Indian smartphone market. As it turns out, the Motorola Razr will launch in India on March 16, 2020. The device will be sold via the Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart. Take a look at the specifications, features, and the expected price of the Motorola Razr smartphone for India.
Motorola Razr: Expected Price in India
The Motorola Razr sells for around $1,500 in the US, so we can expect the device to sell in India for around Rs 1,11,000 in India. This is not the actual price of the device and it might vary. This is just an estimation for now, so our readers should keep that in mind. That being said, in case you are interested in booking one, you can opt for either the Noir Black edition or you can go for the Blush Gold color option of the Motorola Razr.
Motorola Razr: Specifications and Features
The Motorola Razr features a 6.2-inch Full HD+ P-OLED display with a 876 x 2,142 pixel resolution. Yes, we know that the resolution is a bit awkward and unusual, but one has to keep in mind that the Motorola Razr is a foldable smartphone, so it ought to be unconventional. Nevertheless, the primary display of the device has a 373 pixels per inch pixel density. The Motorola Razr features a 70.2 percent screen-to-body ratio. There is also a secondary display (G-OLED), which is just 2.7-inch across the diagonal and it features a 600 x 800 pixel resolution. The device is made up of plastic, front and back. The Motorola Razr measures 172 x 72 x 6.9 mm (when unfolded) and 94 x 72 x 14 mm (when folded). It weighs in at 205 grams.
Under the hood, the Motorola Razr is powered by a 10nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, which is assisted by an Adreno 616 GPU, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. 128GB is all we get with the Motorola Razr as there is no scope for further storage expansion, something you should keep in mind.
In the camera department, the Motorola Razr features a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 16MP primary camera with f/1.7 aperture and Dual Pixel PDAF, and a ToF 3D depth sensor. The rear camera of the device is accompanied by a Dual-LED dual-tone flash. The Motorola Razr can shoot 2160p videos at 30 frames per second. At the front, the Motorola Razr flaunts a 5MP selfie snapper, which comes with f/2.0 aperture.
On the software side of things, the Motorola Razr still runs on the dated Android 9 Pie OS out of the box. As far as the battery is concerned, the Motorola Razr features a 2,510mAh battery, which comes with 15W fast charging support. The device can be charged over a USB Type-C charging port.
For now, we don’t have a confirmation on the official pricing of the Motorola Razr smartphone in India, but since the launch date is not too far from now, we can expect to hear more about the same in the coming days.
