The Realme Narzo 30 series has been doing the rounds of the rumour mill for quite some time. The smartphones in the series, namely the Narzo 30, Narzo 30 Pro and the Narzo 30A have cleared the necessary certifications, but it is only now that we have some concrete information around the launch date, as well as the key feature of one of the smartphones in the series.

Realme Narzo 30 Series launching in India on the last week of February
According to our industry sources, the Realme Narzo 30 Series will be announced in the last week of February – between 21st and 28th. Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has already confirmed the box design in a Twitter post today.

The design was chosen among four prototypes Shehth had posted to poll Narzo fans. The final one, chosen by 15,000 Narzo fans, will be sky blue in colour with prominent Narzo branding on the side.
We made 5G smartphones affordable by launching the #realmeX7 at less than 20K.
Should we make 5G smartphones even more economical?

Being an active person on Twitter, Sheth had also alluded to making 5G smartphones even cheaper than the Realme X7, which is presently the most affordable 5G smartphone you can buy at Rs 19,999. And as seen on the Narzo 20 Pro which brought 65W charging to the under-15k segment, the series is positioned to bring key features at affordable prices. This year, that’s 5G.
One of the smartphones in the Realme Narzo 30 series will feature 5G support
Our industry sources also confirmed the fact that one of the smartphones in the Narzo 30 series will indeed sport 5G support. And basis our report on the Narzo 30 Pro’s TENAA certification, which explicitly specified 5G support, along with revealing live images of the smartphone. The live images indicate the Realme Narzo 30 Pro will sport a quad camera setup at the back, along with the hideous Dare to Leap tagline.
A previous BIS certification had also revealed the existence of a Narzo 30A, which will likely be the most affordable in the series, going by previous positioning. And with the box design confirmed, we also know that the Narzo 30 is confirmed to launch as well.
But frustrating as it should be, there’s really very little we know of the Narzo 30 series. There’s presently no information on the chipsets the series will champion, or the camera features they will democratise or even the display sizes for that matter. Realme is keeping a close lid on the launch, which makes it all the more likely for the series to spring a surprise. If only all smartphones were launched in such secrecy!
