After two consecutive hits with Akhanda and Veera Simha Reddy, Nandamuri Balakrishna (NBK) is getting prepped for his upcoming film with blockbuster director Anil Ravipudi. Tentatively titled #NBK108, the film is rumoured to be released in theatres this Dussehra. With Pataas and Sarileru Neekevvaru, Anil Ravipudi—a specialist in comic entertainment—demonstrated his ability to manage commercial movies and hence he is helming the action-thriller.
Audience interest is piqued by the pairing of NBK and Anil alone. Balayya’s (as Balakrishna Nandmuri is fondly called) first appearance in the film was much different, and internet users went crazy over the idea. It also has very high expectations from the market. The movie is scoring favourable deals across the board. Although a precise release date has not yet been set, rumours indicate that the filmmakers are considering a Dussehra release. If this is the case, the movie will compete at the box office with Ram Pothineni’s Boyapati Sreenu movie. Additionally, the NBK108 creators recently unveiled a poster. On the poster, Balayya is pictured holding a kaalimatha idol. This implies that there will be a lot of action throughout the film.
Now if reports are to be believed, a high price was paid by the makers to seal the OTT contract for the NBK 108. The OTT streaming rights were purchased by the market-leading streaming service Amazon Prime Video for an astounding Rs 35–40 crores. This is the highest for any of the NBK’s flicks. Following the success of Balakrishna’s Akhanda and Veera Simha Reddy in the OTT market, Prime made a hefty bid to acquire the OTT rights to NBK 108 because the movie has a positive buzz among viewers.

When and Where to Watch NBK108
According to industry sources, Amazon Prime Video has acquired the OTT rights for NBK108. However, as the film is still under production, the OTT release date is still unknown. It is expected to release on OTT after 45 days of the theatrical release of the film.
Official Trailer And Plot
According to earlier reports, the film’s plot centers on the bond between a father and daughter, and Balayya plays a hitherto unseen avatar. As per the trend, a remixed version of an old song by Balayya that had ruled the music charts at its time has been added to the film. If rumours are to be believed, NBK108 will feature a new version of the song Andala Ada Bomma from the 1999 movie Samarasimha Reddy.
Kajal Aggarwal is playing the female lead alongside Balakrishna for the first time. According to rumours, Sree Leela is portraying their daughter. According to reports, Kajal received Rs 4 Crores as payment for her 40-minute roles in the movie. Balayya will play a dual-shade character. The music is being composed by Thaman. Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi are financing the project under the Shine Screens brand.
