Incorporating a concept similar to that of Warner Bros. Discovery and joining the ranks of other streaming services, Netflix is getting ready to broadcast its first-ever live sporting event. Drive to Survive and Full Swing’s players will compete in The Netflix Cup, Netflix’s first-ever live sporting event.
To begin the week of the first Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix, the drivers, and golfers will team up to compete in a match-play tournament at Wynn Golf Club at Wynn Las Vegas, the only 18-hole championship golf course on the Las Vegas Strip.
Starting on November 14, Netflix will start streaming live coverage of the Netflix Cup. Drivers and golfers will team up to compete at the Wynn Golf Club in Wynn Las Vegas for the Netflix Cup. The four teams will compete in an eight-hole match, each team consisting of a Formula 1 driver and a PGA Tour player. The top two teams will compete on the last hole for the chance to win the first Netflix Cup championship.

When and Where to Watch the Netflix Cup
Netflix has announced that it will start streaming the Netflix Cup from November 14 on its platform. Viewers will need to subscribe to the streaming service to watch their favourite Drive to Survive and Full Swing’s players competing with each other.
Who All Are on Netflix’s Roster
Connor Schell and David Chamberlin of Full Day Productions, BZ Entertainment, and Excel Sports Management will produce the Netflix Cup, which is authorised by the PGA Tour and F1.
Currently on the Netflix Cup roster are PGA Tour players Rickie Fowler, Max Homa, Collin Morikawa, and Justin Thomas as well as F1 drivers Carlos Sainz (Scuderia Ferrari), Lando Norris (McLaren Racing), Pierre Gasly (BWT Alpine F1 Team), Alex Albon (Williams Racing), and BWT Alpine F1 Team.
At the Wynn Golf Club at Wynn Las Vegas, the drivers and players will team up to compete in a match-play tournament.
Two of Netflix’s breakthrough sports television series are included in The Netflix Cup, a first-of-its-kind live event. The sixth season of Formula 1: Drive to Survive is now in production as the fanbase works to further popularise the sport in the US. One of the new series from 2023, Full Swing, is wrapping up production on a second season and is credited with increasing PGA TOUR fan engagement.
