iPhone 15 Pro has been a rumour mill favourite for quite some time now. Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 15 series in September 2023. There will be four new iPhones this year. Recently, design renders of the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro surfaced online. The design renders revealed the new solid state button design of the Pro models. However, due to last-minute design changes owing to unsolvable issues, it was reported that Apple will revert to its physical button design for the 15 Pro series.

Based on the latest leaks, new design renders of the iPhone 15 Pro have leaked online. The MacRumors report, citing tipster Unknownz21, reveals the side frame design of the 15 Pro. Let’s take a look at the new iPhone 15 Pro design details, specifications and features known so far.

iPhone 15 Pro Might Feature a Two-Button Design for the Volume Module

There seems to be a lot of confusion around the design of the volume and power buttons of the iPhone 15 Pro models, which will launch later this year. After the rumour mill claiming that the 15 Pro series will feature solid state buttons, a new leak has now revealed that Apple will stick to the tried and tested two-button design found in the iPhone 14 Pro models. A MacRumors report shares a design render of the same. The initial design render revealed a single unified button for the volume rocker. However, the leak was later updated with another piece of information, which suggested the use of a two-button design for the volume module.

The rendered images, however, reveal that Apple will replace the mute switch with a button. iPhone models all these years have featured the mute switch, making it an iconic feature. However, with the upcoming 15 Pro models, the company might just kill the switch and replace it with a button. The report revealed that Apple is referring to the mute button as the “ringer button” or the “action button” and if the latter is true, it could be in line with the rumours of Apple allowing users to customise the button for various tasks similar to the Apple Watch Ultra.

It could be possible that the design renders further change owing to newer developments. Therefore, we advise taking the leaked details with a pinch of salt.

The iPhone 15 series is said to offer Dynamic Island on all four models. Apple will, however, differentiate the Pro models with slimmer bezels around the display. As per reports, the 15 Pro bezels will measure around 1.55mm on all four sides. The Pro models are also tipped to get a titanium frame as opposed to aluminium on the regular models.

All four models will feature the USB Type-C port. The 15 Pro models will get a triple-camera setup on the back with a LiDAR sensor and an LED flash. The camera module is said to be bigger than the 14 Pro series. The standard iPhones will continue to sport a dual-camera setup with an LED flash on the back. More details about the upcoming iPhones should be available soon. We will share these details as and when available.
