We are almost halfway through 2023, and OTT releases in June are all set to entertain you. In the first week of the month, we bring you OTT releases on popular platforms like Jio Cinema, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Voot, Disney+ Hotstar, Sony Liv, and Aha. And while we may not watch everything released each week, the OTT platforms still bring a whole lot of shows and films just to keep the audience engaged.

Asur Season 2

The second season of the popular show Asur starring Arshad Warsi and Barun Sobti, is returning after more than two years. The official trailer shows a boy saying that he wants to become a Danav, Daitya, or Asur. Besides Barun Sobti and Arshad Warsi, others like Amey Wagh and Riddhi Dogra will return for Asur 2 in their respective roles from the first season.

Ponniyin Selvan – 2

After the success of Ponniyin Selvan – 2 by master filmmaker Mani Ratnam, the second part was released theatrically on April 28. The new film is now available on OTT for viewers who missed it in theatres. The historical drama tells Arulmozhi Varman’s story. In the first part, he was shown drowning in the ocean and the second part starts, with him being ill after being saved from the water by Oomai Rani. Karthi and Aishwarya Lakshmi characters Vallavarayan Vandhiyadhevan and Poonguzhali plan to transport him to a Buddhist monastery where he can receive treatment.
