We’re on to the second week of February and we have Shahid Kapoor’s first appearance in an OTT coming this week. Thunivu
Thunivu, a 2023 Tamil-language action heist movie is the directorial venture of H Vinoth, with Boney Kapoor taking over production duties. The story follows Radha, a gangster and his gang, that plan a heist at “Your Bank”, one of the largest private banks in Chennai, with the tacit support of ACP Ramachandran. Thunivu was released in theatres on 11 January and did decent business, grossing more than Rs 160 crores, pegging it as the second highest-grossing Indian movie of 2023.

After reaping the success of The Family Man, director duo Raj and DK are back with a new Hindi thriller/drama show called Farzi which brings Shahid Kapoor to the OTT platform for the first time. The new show features Shahid Kapoor as the lead along with Vijay Sethupathi. The show also features Kay Kay Menon, Raashi Khanna and Amol Palekar. It’s the tale of a counterfeit note maker and the cat and mouse game with the police.

You series co-creator Sera Gamble returns as showrunner. The new season is set to be divided into two parts, something that Netflix has done with many of its popular shows.

Hansika’s Love Shaadi Drama
This is a new reality show coming to Disney+ Hotstar on February 10 named Hansika’s Love Shaadi Drama which will be centered around the wedding of Hansika Motwani who tied the knot with Sohael Khaturiya on December 4, 2022 at Jaipur’s Mundota Fort and Palace. The show will probably have the bride open up about her past relationship along with the groom’s second marriage, their wedding plans, and much more.

Kumite 1 Warrior Hunt
The other interesting reality TV show releasing this week is the Kumite 1 Warrior Hunt which is India’s first mixed martial arts reality show. This has been produced by Oneway Films Pvt Ltd in 2022. The makers apparently have the vision to grow and popularize the sport of mixed martial arts within the community in India. It will be hosted by Suniel Shetty and anchored by Sunanda Wong.

Vedha is a Kannada action drama movie that released in 2022 and is written and directed by Harsha.
