We’re moving on from January to February this week and some strong titles like Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has already hit the OTT platforms. Besides this shows like Unstoppable with NBK and The Last of Us are riding the hype train with quality episodes each week. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is the second film in the Black Panther series and has been made with Letitia Wright in the role of Black Panther replacing Chadwick Boseman after he passed away after the first film. This action film pretty much retains most of the cast from the first one with even Michael B Jordan’s Killmonger. The primary villain this time is Tenoch Huerta’s Namor. Many returning actors include Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba. The new film has also been directed by Ryan Coogler who directed the first film.

Class is a new teenage crime thriller show from Netflix which is an Indian remake of the popular Spanish show Elite. The Indian variant has been described by Netflix as, “Three students from a poor neighborhood join an exclusive high school for Delhi elite where dark secrets and rumors ultimately lead to murder.” This is essentially juxtaposing the plot from the Spanish version of the show into the new show which is set in Delhi instead of Madrid.

Jehanabad – Of Love and War

With shows like Panchayat, the Indian small town and villages have garnered the limelight and are subject of quite a few shows in recent times. Jehanabad – Of Love and War is no exception and it is a crime drama set in a small town in Bihar, where young love and anarchy and politics evolve at the same time and happen to interact with each other. The show features people like Shatrughan Kumar, Naushaad Abbas, Satyadeep Misra, Harshita Gaur, Rajat Kapoor, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Ritwik Bhowmik, Suneel Sinha. It has been directed by Rajeev Barnwal and Satyanshu Singh.

While Bengalis know Roktokorobi as the play written by Rabindranath Tagore, the new show of the same name does not seem to have much to do with it. The new ZEE5 thriller is about a psychologist name Satyaki who breaks down after one of his patients commits suicide while undergoing treatment. Locals ransack his chamber leading him to quit practicing. And Satyaki moves to aunt’s house at where uncanny events begin taking place.

The popular thriller show from Netflix is back with Penn Badgley returning as Joe Goldberg and Tati Gabrielle reprising her role as Marienne Bellamy, with Lukas Gage, Charlotte Ritchie, Tilly Keeper, Amy-Leigh Hickman and Ed Speleers joining the main cast. You series co-creator Sera Gamble returns as showrunner. The new season is set to be divided into two parts, something that Netflix has done with many of its popular shows.
