
March just lit up with an amazing OTT release this week. Shah Rukh Khan’s big return to the big screen with Pathaan which released in theaters back in January finally got its OTT release this week. Besides that there are a host of other releases this week along with the ongoing series The Mandalorian on Disney+ Hotstar. And with HBO’s shows leaving Disney+ Hotstar at the end of this month we would like to remind people to watch their shows on time. The newest heist thriller coming to Bollywood features Yami Gautam and Sunny Kaushal. Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga is being produced by Amar Kaushik and Dinesh Vijan, who are known for helming blockbusters like Stress and Bala. Yami Gautam stars as an air hostess who along with her businessman boyfriend are on a journey to steal jewels to escape a debt shark’s grasp. As the plane carrying the treasures gets involved in a hostage scenario, the heist goes horribly wrong.

Another slice-of-life drama from the Malayalam industry is Poovan which features Antony Varghese, Girish A.D., Sajin Cherukayil, and Vineeth Vasudevan. It has been directed by Vineeth Vasudevan. Poovan revolves around a young man named Hari who owns a juice bar with a close friend. Veena, his sister, is in love with a man named Kannan. The movie essentially depicts a string of occurrences in Hari’s life that followed the arrival of a rooster in the neighbourhood.

The new action thriller show which has been directed by Shawn Ryan is based on the novel of the same name by Matthew Quirk. Pathaan
Pathaan is SRK’s big comeback to the big screen after Zero which released in 2018. Pathaan is currently the highest grossing Hindi film ever and is close to some of the top names from India in terms of revenue. Pathan follow’s SRK’s character who has the same name has to take the fight to John Abrahm’s character with the help of Deepika’s character as Jim (John Abrahm) tries to take vengence from India with ‘Rakhtbeej’ for abandoning him. After getting full theaters for the longest time people are still rewatching the movie for the extra scenes added to the OTT version.

The show is about an English department chairman at an underfunded college played by Bob Odenkirk. The story is about Jamnaprasad Pandey who is an epic miserly person, who even admits to being miserly. He saves money to send his parents on a pilgrimage, who lose their lives while on the pilgrimage. And when the government announnces a monetary compensation, a middleman steps in to grab half the money and Jamnaprasad vows to make him pay.
