A couple of days ago, we spotted a new Realme smartphone, dubbed the Realme X3 SuperZoom on the Thai NBTC certification website. Later, we could spot the same smartphone on the Geekbench database website, which gave us a working clue as to what some of its key specifications would be. Today, we have spotted yet another Realme smartphone on the Chinese 3C certification website and the MIIT certification website, which have revealed that the upcoming Realme RMX2142 smartphone will be a 5G handset. Furthermore, the device could very well belong to the upcoming Realme X3 series of smartphones. Take a look at what we know about the upcoming Realme RMX2142 smartphone so far.
Realme RMX2142 Will Feature 30W Fast Charging; Could be a Realme X3 Series Device
As seen in the 3C certification website snippet, the Realme RMX2142 smartphone will be a 5G handset and will feature up to 30W of fast charging (5VDC, 6A Max). Other than the charging speed and the fact that it will be a 5G smartphone, we don’t really receive any other intel on the device from either of the certifications.
That being said, we can certainly speculate on some of its key specifications and features. Starting with the OS, the upcoming Realme RMX2142, which could be the Realme X3 or the Realme X3 Pro, will most likely run the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s in-house Realme UI baked on top of it. Since the Realme X3 SuperZoom is already confirmed to sport an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor, the Realme RMX2142 could feature a Snapdragon 765G processor or a MediaTek 5G chipset.
Speaking of the Realme X3 SuperZoom, the Geekbench benchmarking platform reveals that the Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition features ‘msmnile’ motherboard, which we know is for the Snapdragon 855 SoC. The device managed to pull off 788 points in the single-core test and 2,624 in the multi-core test, also suggesting that it is the Snapdragon 855 SoC. Furthermore, the Geekbench listing for the Realme X3 SuperZoom also reveals that the device will come in a 12GB RAM variant. It will ship with the latest Android 10 OS out of the box. The Realme X3 SuperZoom has so far appeared on the NBTC certification website, the Geekbench database, and the EEC certification website in the past. Plus, it is almost confirmed to reach the Indian soils as the same has been spotted on the Indian BIS certification website as well.
