Realme forayed into the Android tablet segment with the Realme Pad tablet a few months ago. The Realme Pad was very well received in the market due to its affordable price tag as well as the price to performance ratio. Recently, Realme Vice President Madhav Sheth had confirmed that the company plans to expand its Android tablet portfolio and aims to release tablets at different price points. Now, MySmartPrice has exclusively learnt that a new Realme Pad with model number RMP2106 is in the works, courtesy of tipster Yogesh Brar.

Yogesh reveals that the upcoming Realme Pad has already cleared BIS certification, so the India launch is definitely on the cards. Brar further tells us that the upcoming Realme Tablet will be powered by a UniSoC processor. However, as of now, the exact processor details aren’t known. To those unaware, the OG Realme Pad is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 processor.

Yogesh also revealed that the upcoming Realme Pad variant will come pre-loaded with Android 11. This will be a disappointment for prospective buyers. To that unaware, the OG Realme Pad was also launched with Android 11, and the company had earlier said that it doesn’t have plans to upgrade it to Android 12. However, after backlash from existing Realme Pad users the company recently confirmed the Android 12 update for the tablet.

Also, the upcoming Realme tablet was recently spotted on the Camera FV-5 database. The database listing had revealed that the upcoming Realme Tablet will offer an 8MP rear shooter with f/1.78 aperture and 27.9mm focal length. For the selfies and video calls, the Realme RMP2106 will feature a 5MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture, and 27.7mm focal length.

As of now, other specifications of the upcoming Realme tablet are under the wraps. However, we can expect to learn more about it in the coming weeks. What are your expectations from the upcoming Realme Pad? Do let us know in the comments below.
