Motorola launched the Motorola Edge 40 smartphone in India with Android 13 in May last year. Now, the smartphone has started receiving the stable Android 14 software update in India. Though the Lenovo-owned smartphone maker has not confirmed any details about the rollout, a user has claimed on X (formerly Twitter) that he has received the Android 14 update on their Motorola Edge 40 unit.
Motorola Edge 40 Android 14 Update Released in India
The newly released Android 14 software update for the Motorola Edge 40 is 1.49GB in size and includes firmware version U1TL34.115-13. The update appears to be rolling out in batches initially, and it should be available for all users in the coming few days. The new software update brings in Android 14 features and some new enhancements which Motorola has baked into its My UX software skin. The smartphone should also get the Android 15 software update in future, considering that the brand had promised 2 major Android software updates for the device when it was launched last year.
