Xiaomi is expected to announce a new tablet under the Redmi brand in global markets, including India. Today, we have spotted the upcoming Redmi Pad 8.7 SE 4G tablet in the BIS certification ahead of its launch.
Redmi Pad 8.7 SE 4G BIS Certification
The BIS certification reveals that Xiaomi will soon launch a new device with the 24076RP19I model number. The 24076RP19I model number was recently spotted in the IMEI database with the Redmi Pad 8.7 SE 4G moniker. Apart from the model number, the BIS certification doesn’t reveal any other specifications of the device.
The upcoming tablet was spotted in the FCC certification, which confirms that the device will run on Hyper OS 1.0 out of the box. Xiaomi will equip the tablet with dual-bank Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 4G LTE, an FM receiver, and more. The tablet was also spotted on Singapore’s IMDA certification, hinting that the global launch could launch soon.
The moniker of the tablet suggests that Xiaomi could equip the forthcoming tablet with an 8.7-inch screen. The upcoming Pad SE 8.7 SE 4G is expected to be a trimmed-down variant of the Redmi Pad SE launched in August 2023. To recall, the Redmi Pad SE sports an 11-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Snapdragon 680 4G SoC.
