Samsung Galaxy M55s Spotted on Geekbench with Qualcomm SoC Ahead of Launch

Samsung is gearing up to launch a new smartphone in the Galaxy M series. Today, we spotted the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M55s in the Geekbench listing before its launch.

The Geekbench listing reveals that an upcoming Samsung smartphone with the SM-M558B model number will debut soon. The model number was previously spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification, confirming the launch of the Galaxy M55s.

The listing divulges that the device has scored 1003 points in single-core and 2309 points in multi-core tests. It will be powered by an octa-core SoC with the Taro motherboard, Walt governor, and 8GB of RAM, and the smartphone will run on Android 14 out of the box.

The database adds that the octa-core SoC has a peak clock speed of 2.4GHz, coupled with an Adreno 644 GPU. The identifiers confirm that Samsung will equip the smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC features four Cortex A710 cores and four Cortex A510 cores. The Wi-Fi Alliance certification reveals support for 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi.

The certification doesn’t reveal any other specifications of the upcoming Galaxy M55s smartphone. We expect Samsung to confirm the smartphone’s launch in the upcoming weeks, so stay tuned.
