Vivo has confirmed the launch date of the Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro smartphones in India. It will launch on August 7 and its microsite of the upcoming smartphones recently went live on the Vivo India website and Flipkart, which has revealed the phones’ details. Take a look at the details.
Vivo V40 Series: Everything to Know
The Flipkart microsite has confirmed that the V40 Pro will debut with a triple rear camera setup, including, a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary camera with OIS. The primary camera will be paired with a 50MP ultrawide angle camera with a 119 field of view and a 50MP Sony IMX816 telephoto portrait camera with 2x optical and 50X ZEISS Hyper Zoom.
The Vivo V40 Pro will be available in Ganges Blue and Titanium Grey shades. In contrast, the vanilla Vivo V40 will come in Lotus Purple, Ganges Blue, and Titanium Grey shades. The smartphones will have a large oval-shaped rear camera hump, which will also include the Aura light.
The brand has confirmed that both smartphones will come with an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, which can withstand depths up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes. Vivo also claims that the upcoming smartphones will be the slimmest to pack a large 5,500mAh battery with support for 80W fast wired charging tech.
