Redmi Note 10 Ultra With MediaTek Dimensity 1100 Could Be New Addition to Lineup

Earlier today, Redmi announced the launch date for the upcoming Redmi Note 10 series devices for China. The Redmi Note 10 series will make its debut in China next week on May 26th. Ahead of the launch, an image of Xiaomi’s official e-commerce portal has surfaced on Weibo revealing that the upcoming Redmi Note 10 series will consist of three models – Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and Redmi Note 10 Ultra. Yes, Redmi Note series is getting an Ultra model this time around. The leaked image also reveals the key specifications of the upcoming Note 10 Ultra. Redmi Note 10 Ultra: Specifications (Leaked)

The leaked image reveals that the upcoming Note 10 Ultra will feature a large 6.53-inch AMOLED display. The listing doesn’t reveal the resolution and the refresh rate, but we can expect it to be an FHD+ panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The upcoming Note 10 Ultra will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC. Redmi will use this SoC for the first time, the company is also expected to launch Redmi K40 Light Luxury Edition with the same SoC. The listing further reveals that the smartphone will retail in 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configurations. The base – 6GB RAM + 128GB variant of the smartphone will cost RMB 1799 (approx Rs. 20,480).

The Note 10 Ultra will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. Earlier this morning, Xiaomi had officially shared a teaser showing a render of an upcoming smartphone. We now know that the smartphone shown in the official renders was the Note 10 Ultra, and it will retail in a teal color variant. The smartphone will likely feature a triple-rear camera setup. Unfortunately, only this much is known about the upcoming smartphone so far.

As far as the Redmi Note 10, and Redmi Note 10 Pro are concerned, the Redmi Note 10 5G global variant, which launched as POCO M3 Pro 5G just yesterday, is said to launch as vanilla Redmi Note 10 in China.
