Xiaomi Working on Multiple Android Tablets With High-end Specs to Take on Apple and Samsung

XDA claims that enuma and elish will be powered by Qualcomm’s sm8250 mobile platform. This means that we will likely see Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, 865+, or 870 on enuma and elish.

While the third tablet has codename nabu has model number ending with K82. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s sm8150 mobile platform. So, we can expect to see one of Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, 855+, or 860 with nabu.

The report also suggests that enuma will come with voice calls support. While the elish, and nabu won’t support 4G/LTE connectivity.

Also, Kacskrz, a Xiaomi tipster, found a new settings page in a recent alpha build of the MIUI Launcher app. The page shows the demo for the system navigation for these tablets. Finding by Kacskrz hint that all three upcoming Xiaomi tablets might have standard 16:10 aspect ratio displays.

All three devices are said to get an IPS LCD display with 2560×1600 pixel resolution with 120Hz refresh rate. Kacskrz also says that nabu might have a 10.97-inch display panel, and an 8720mAh battery under the hood.

With Qualcomm Snapdragon 8-series processors, 120Hz refresh rate displays, and big batteries, Xiaomi might finally be planning to give other players such as Apple, and Samsung, tough competition in the flagship tablet segment. The segment is dominated by the likes of Apple iPad Pros, and Samsung Galaxy S-series tablets.
