Noise Luna Ring has been launched in India as the second affordable fitness tracking ring from an Indian brand. The new launch comes shortly after the Smart Ring launch from its competitor, boAt. The Noise Luna Ring seems to be offering similar features as the boAt Smart Ring. However, unlike the Smart Ring, Noise Luna Ring is already up for pre-order on the official website of the brand. Noise Luna Ring Price in India, Availability
Noise has yet to announce the price of its Luna Ring in India. However, interested buyers can head to the official Noise Luna Ring webpage to buy Luna Ring Priority Access Pass for Rs 2,000. The access pass buyers will get a unique activation code for benefits like Rs 3,000 off Luna Ring, priority shipping and delivery, Rs 2,000 liquid and physical damage cover for free, flat Rs 2,000 off on Noise i1 Smart Glass, and more.
The new smart Ring will be available in 7 ring sizes and five colours – Sunlit Gold, Rose Gold, Stardust Silver, Lunar Black, and Midnight Black. There’s yet to be a word on which other retailers will stock the Noise Luna Ring and the retail price, but we should get to know soon.
Noise Luna Ring Specifications, Features
The Noise Luna Ring is a sturdy fitness wearable that flaunts a 3mm thin fighter-jet grade titanium body and diamond-like coating for scratch resistance. Noise has also equipped the inside of the smart ring with a hypoallergenic smooth inner shell to be skin friendly. The Luna Ring is also sturdy, with up to 50m water resistance.
Moreover, the new ring has been designed with accuracy in mind for guided wearing. It has a pointing edge on the outside and bumps on the inside for proper alignment of sensors on the finger. The ring flaunts an optomechanical design with three LEDs, two PD sensors, and mechanical components for an accurate alignment of optical sensors.
Speaking of sensors, the Noise Luna Ring features a PPG sensor and a 3-axis accelerometer for precise tracking. It uses proprietary algorithms from Noise to track heart rate, sleep patterns, movements, and other biological data.
The Noise Luna Ring tracks three daily metrics: activity, readiness, and sleep. While activity and sleep are self-explanatory, the readiness score offers a holistic overview of users’ health. Apart from these, the Ring also monitors SpO2, body temperature, heart rate, and more.
Users can install the NoiseFit app on their smartphone and sync all data using the Bluetooth Low-Energy or BLE5 technology on Luna Ring. The smart ring is compatible with Android 6 and iOS 14 or above. Lastly, the ring offers an impressive battery life of up to a week on a single charge of 60 minutes.
